Several Blackhawk students completed in various competitions in areas including, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Digital Communication & Design, Management, Marketing & Communication, and Health Administration.

Passion Tann, Sierra Vogel and Liliana Cummings competed in the Small Business Management Team competition and won first place. The team used strategic planning and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to a business case study provided.

Other students who competed were:

  • Julie White placed eighth place in Fundamentals of Web Design and sixth place in both Personal Financial Management and Fundamentals of Word Processing.
  • Dave Jaeckel placed 13th in Business Law & Ethics and seventh in Payroll Accounting.
  • Liliana Cummings placed 10th in Business Law & Ethics.

BPA provides opportunities for students to develop, lead and compete as they prepare for their business career.
